I thought of something to add to the Ogre painting.

These are made on the iPad using ArtRage and StripDesign.
This is what I worked on during the Red & White Comic & Toy Expo. I decided to take a sketch I had of an ogre from my DrawSomething game and add some color.

I got some nice feedback on my work at the show. Didn't sell anything. I guess comic expo patrons don't want greeting cards. My daughter says fan art is a good seller. Also the face painter did really well.

One ebook publisher says my work would work for children's books.

People seemed to dig the fact that you could make art on the iPad.

Idler Magazine Parody Cartoon

Inspired by Kate Beaton's technique of taking a drawing and making a cartoon out of it.

There are many ineffective ways to deal with our fears and anxieties!

I don't know where this one came from, but I'm sure grateful it did. Maybe it's my version of a rage face-style cartoon.

Some folks just are what they are. No amount of perfection on your part can change them. Sad situation when it's your boss, though!
Inspired by Winsor McCay's work. His characters sometimes get discombobulated and then wake up to find out it was just a bad dream, caused by eating welsh rarebit.
Inspired by a true story. The facebook friend's suggestion caused a time of great anxiety as a victim recalled the circumstances of their last meeting.

All those requests for donations and cards and the reminder at the end at what I could have saved! The clerk was just doing her job and she performed all her prompts well, but the result was a frustrating checkout experience. I remained pleasant, but this cartoon is how I felt after that experience.

I would rather make my own donations rather than giving them to a corporation so they can get a tax receipt and credit for the donation. What's the problem, it's only a couple of bucks, right? Well, it makes your customers feel guilty if they don't donate, and don't you want to make them feel good about their shopping experience?  Unpleasant shopping experiences drive customers away, IMHO.
Happy faces are always happy, even in the afterlife!
I've been told by an expert on Mormonism that the RV actually needs to have multiple doors, one entrance for each wife.
I've never had much success at craft shows. But I was able to make a few observations!

Fibromyalgia and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome are terrible diseases. They take your life away and are still thought to not be a real disease by society and a some in the medical profession.

I have had this illness for 14 years. I have been on the guaifenesin protocol for the last 10 years and I am feeling much better. Dr. St. Amand has a good theory and an effective treatment.  The study that "refutes" the effectiveness of guaifenesin did not account for the blocking effect of common products like mint in toothpaste.  I'm glad I gave it a shot, this is much better than being  disabled.  Now I only get flares once in a while, instead of all the time.

I liked what some Etsy artists were doing with altering vintage plates, adding a post-modern twist to them. Here's my version.
